I'm looking forward to having 52 faces from each of my silly bears to watch their growth through 2012!

Joseph is so fun to photograph. I read through Courtney's final post in the Move to Manual Series today and finally figured out what setting I need to use to get nice photos in manual inside our house. (JUST in time for 52 faces!!!) There's still a little too much shadow for my liking, but I'll figure it out eventually.
" I think I like this toy. " " Wait. . . it's a pony. "
" Do I like ponies? " "Nah. "
Abbey, on the other hand, gets increasingly MORE difficult to photograph as she gets older. She seems to always be talking about something or doing something, so I'll aways catch her with an odd look on her face, or I'll correct the settings on my camera, just to go to get a shot of her, and her patience for allowing mommy to take pictures has run out. Too bad, since she's so darned beautiful!
In this photo, she's worried that the neighborhood egg hunt is going to start without her.
But at least she wasn't worried about the awful, insanely rude and hurtful exclusion that happened to her earlier in the week.
My mom and dad are in town for the weekend (a short rendezvous with Grandma and Grandpa, as mom had some professional development in Boston and tacked a couple extra days on the end of her trip to run up to Maine and see us) so we'll be enjoying their company this Easter weekend!

heehee...i love photo stories. Clever catch, mum!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gerty. When I realized I had good light and good settings, I just clicked away and ended up catching all his expressions in time! It was really neat ;)
