Crafty Mama Monday

It has been a busy, busy holiday season, and I'm still not done creating for my friends and family. I have in progress and in queue:

- Knitted beanbags (simple, but lengthy project - making several.)

- Diapers, diapers, diapers, and more diapers (as if I have the time or the energy, right? LOL)

- Cloth napkins

- placemats for Abbey and Joseph's weaning table

And that is all I care to think about right now! (there have been several things that Abbey has asked for lately, like a mat for around her potty, a couple skirts, and a hello kitty ensemble)

I LOVE sewing and I LOVE knitting, but lately, I have been so busy mothering a demanding 3 year old and a teething 8 month old that I haven't made it to my sewing table as much as usual. More to come in the near future!

Here are my inspirations lately. . . 

I'm thinking about sewing a king sized quilt for our bedroom, and I'm drawn to these bright prints. Hopefully Hubs won't mind! (mind you, this probably won't happen for some time to come!)

I must have some (or all) of these boyish organic cotton transportation prints.

and I have had my eye on these prints by Urban Zooloie for a while, but previously, I could only find them on specialty fabric sites for twice the price. Now they're on fabric.com! Again. . . MUST have. 

What adorable diapers and toys and blankets these would make!
