Courtney Kirkland's 52 Faces See the Changes


In this weekly project, we try to capture our children, week by week, and showcase our best work and or kiddos cutest moments. At the end of the year, we will have 52 pictures of each of our kiddos, chronicling 2012!

Move 2 Manual - A Photography Tutorial Series


If you've ever thought about taking a photography class, this is like a move at your own pace photography class over the internet. And it's totally FREE. This project is a series of excellent photography tutorials from Courtney Kirkland and Amy B. that take you from shooting on auto to shooting in manual mode on your SLR camera. It's been an up and down process for me, but definitely a project worth pursuing! My photos have been benefitting from these tutorials, and I'm sure yours will, too! There is a Flickr group dedicated to sharing our photos as we explore all of the aspects of shooting in manual, and Courtney and Amy are so helpful and personable - no question is ever a silly question!
